I will check out the YouTube links. The rise of China and their mercantilism is nothing short of impressive and says a lot for the work ethic of Chinese people.

The lockdown was particularly bad in some countries, I think Spain was pretty hard but China was in a league of it's own. The authoritarianism, when activated can be scary I think.
